Russia is now doing a four-billion-dollar deal in Iran’s oil industry, Mohsen Khojasteh-Mehr said at the signing ceremony.
As NIOC chief stressed, the company will not miss any investment opportunity with Gazprom- world’s biggest gas company in Russia- and other Russian companies.
Such seriousness [in cooperation] indicates the two sides determination to accelerate investment in oil and gas sectors, Khojasteh-Mehr noted.
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin had already urged senior officials at Gazprom to travel to Iran in the shortest time and hold talks on investment in Iran’s gas and oil projects.
